Welcome to Susie's Music Studio!
With a welcoming space in Morningside for musicians of all ages and abilities, Susie can help you or your child get started with music lessons for the first time, or help you to progress from where you left off.

With a Bachelor of Music, plenty of teaching experience and a current Blue Card, Susie is a friendly, patient teacher who loves helping others discover the life-enriching joy of music. Learn more about Susie's background here.

Singing lessons
Singing is a human behaviour which is more about expressing yourself than about sounding good or perfect. Most of us don't get to sing much anymore, but the power of making your voice heard is undeniable. Susie personally thinks everyone would benefit from singing more!

​With a Bachelor of Music in Popular Voice from Monash University, Susie has a strong background in vocal technique and plenty of experience in teaching voice to students of all ages, both privately and in schools.
Susie seeks to give her students a solid foundation in fundamental singing technique while helping them to approach their voices with gentle curiosity.
​
For younger students, Susie likes to include a combination of technical skills, music theory and repertoire in each lesson, balanced with a good amount of fun!

Your first lesson will be FREE so you can try it out and see if it's for you.

Lessons will then be invoiced in monthly blocks to be paid ahead of time at $37 for 30 minutes (45 or 60 minute sessions also available).
Casual/once-off sessions available for $40 for 30 mins.

Beginner Piano Lessons
Learning piano provides an excellent foundation for all future musical endeavours and any other instruments.
Highly recommended for children, singers and for those of all ages taking their first steps towards music-making, the piano is a straightforward instrument with an easy-to-understand layout. A great choice for all developing musicians, whether you're 5 or 105!

Susie has taught plenty of people how to play piano for the first time, and thoroughly enjoys helping her students start their journey into the musical world.

Please note that Susie only teaches piano to beginners. If you're looking for lessons above grade 1 AMEB level, you will benefit from lessons with a higher level teacher.
